What are Decorators?

Decorators provide additional context to your Timeline data for the various applications and browsers you may use. WiseTime has had augmentation enabled as part of its automated time capture. The Decorators allows the application to capture further details to help provide useful information to your Timeline to greater assist with the AI-auto-tagging and for your AI generated narratives. Users are able to control the Decorators and can choose to disable the decorators of their choice, but this will reduce the details and usefulness for your private Timeline.

How to Access Decorators

By clicking on the ellipsis on the top-right of your desktop app, you can access your Preferences and review your Decorator settings under Exclusions.

How to disable Decorators

You are able to select specific applications that you wish to have excluded from Decorators or you can choose to Disable All Decorators.

To disabled decorators for specific application, please choose the application from the drop down (1) and click ‘Disable’.

To disable all decorators for your Timeline, please click ‘Disable All Decorators’ (2).

NB: Excluding an application from Decorators does not exclude it from your Timeline. It is only excluding it from the enhanced automated time capture. If you wish to exclude an application or window title from your Timeline, please refer to the Exclusions help guide article.
